About the Role:
Join our compassionate team at YOUR TRUSTED HOME CARE PLUS LLC as a Caregiver in Jackson, MI. You'll provide essential support and companionship to those in need, making a positive impact in their lives every day.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being to the healthcare team.
- Medication reminders
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills.
- Errands to appts
- Laundry
- Light Housekeeping
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in caregiving is a plus.
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass background checks.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
